Vain Jeesuksen kautta meidät tehdään kelvollisiksi – Pelastus kuuluu niille, jotka luovuttavat elämänsä Hänelle

"Sillä armosta te olette pelastetut uskon kautta. Ja se ei ole teistä, vaan se on Jumalan lahja; ei tekojen kautta, ettei kukaan kerskaisi."

— Efesolaiskirje 2:8–9 (AMP)

Me elämme sukupolvessa, joka ylistää itsenäisyyttä. Lapsesta asti meille opetetaan: ole vahva, hallitse itse, riitä itse, korjaa itsesi, pelasta itsesi.

Mutta Raamatun totuus iskee tätä maailmallista viisautta vastaan kuin pyhä miekka:

Sinä et tule koskaan riittämään.

Et voi korjata itseäsi.

Et voi pelastaa itseäsi.

Vain yksi voi: Jeesus.

▪︎ Totuus ihmisen tilasta

Raamattu ei imartele meitä. Se puhuu rehellisesti:

"Sillä kaikki ovat tehneet syntiä ja ovat Jumalan kirkkautta vailla."

— Roomalaiskirje 3:23 (AMP)

Synti ei ole vain huonoa käytöstä – se on kapinaa Jumalan pyhää auktoriteettia vastaan. Se on sielumme syöpä, joka erottaa meidät Jumalan kasvoista.

"Vaan teidän rikoksenne erottavat teidät Jumalastanne, ja teidän syntinne peittävät hänen kasvonsa teiltä, niin ettei hän kuule."

— Jesaja 59:2

Mikään rituaali, mikään hyvä teko, mikään "olen hyvä ihminen" -asenne ei voi poistaa syntiä. Synnin palkka ei ole parantuminen, vaan kuolema.

"Synnin palkka on kuolema, mutta Jumalan armolahja on iankaikkinen elämä Kristuksessa Jeesuksessa, meidän Herrassamme."

▪︎ Vain veri tekee meidät kelvollisiksi

Meidät saatettiin kelvollisiksi, koska Jumala itse astui alas.

Ei lähettämällä vain profeettaa.

Ei tuomalla moraalisia ohjeita.

Vaan tulemalla itse lihaksi – Luojan astuessa omaan luomakuntaansa maksamaan hinnan, jota me emme koskaan voisi maksaa.

"Ja Sana tuli lihaksi (Kristus) ja asui meidän keskellämme; ja me katselimme hänen kirkkauttansa – senkaltaista kirkkautta, joka ainoalla Pojalla on Isältä – täynnä armoa ja totuutta."

— Johannes 1:14 (AMP)

Galaksien Luoja syntyi vauvaksi.

Taivaan Kuningas antoi kätensä naulittaviksi.

Synnitön otti päälleen kaiken synnin.

"Hän, joka ei synnistä tiennyt, hänet Jumala teki synniksi meidän tähtemme, että me hänessä tulisimme Jumalan vanhurskaudeksi."

— 2. Korinttilaiskirje 5:21 (AMP)

Hän ei ollut pelkkä sanansaattaja. Hän oli ja on YHWH:n käsivarsi, josta Jesaja profetoi:

"Kuka uskoo meidän sanomamme, ja kenelle Herran käsivarsi on ilmoitettu?"

— Jesaja 53:1, ja Johannes 12:38 osoittaa tämän suoraan Jeesukseen.

Vain Hänen uhrinsa kelpaa.

Vain Hänen verensä puhdistaa.

Vain Hänen kuolemansa lunastaa.

Vain Hänen ylösnousemuksensa nostaa meidät ylös.

▪︎ Kelvollisuus syntyy antautumisesta

Jeesus sanoi:

"Jos joku tahtoo seurata minua, hän kieltäköön itsensä, ottakoon joka päivä ristinsä ja seuratkoon minua."

— Luukas 9:23 (AMP)

Emme pelastu siksi, että lisäämme Jeesuksen elämäämme.

Pelastumme kun annamme elämämme Hänelle kokonaan.

Ei ole kyse vain uskosta Jeesukseen –

Vaan antautumisesta Jeesukselle.

Meidän täytyy sanoa:

"En ole enää oman elämäni Herra.

Jeesus on.

Luovutan ohjat Sinulle.

En riitä, mutta Sinä riität.

Tahdon, että Sinun Henkesi elää minussa – ei minun tahtoni."

Silloin meistä tehdään Jumalan temppeleitä.

Silloin Pyhä Henki – Ruach haKodesh – tulee asumaan meihin.

"Ettekö tiedä, että teidän ruumiinne on Pyhän Hengen temppeli, joka on teissä, jonka olette saaneet Jumalalta, ja ettette ole itsenne omat?"

"Sillä te olette kallilla hinnalla ostetut. Kirkastakaa siis Jumalaa ruumiissanne [ja hengessänne, jotka ovat Jumalan]."

— 1. Korinttilaiskirje 6:20

▪︎ Hän tekee pesän meihin

Pyhä Henki ei ole tunne.

Ei energiaa.

Hän on Jumalan oma Henki, joka asuu niissä, jotka kuuluvat Jeesukselle.

Hän tekee pesän, asumuksen, meihin.

Tämä täyttää Hesekielin profetian:

"Ja minä annan teille uuden sydämen ja uuden hengen teidän sisimpäänne; minä otan pois kivisydämen ja annan lihasydämen. Minä annan Henkeni teidän sisimpäänne ja vaikutan, että vaellatte minun käskyjeni mukaan."

— Hesekiel 36:26–27 (AMP)

Et kuulu enää itsellesi.

Kuulut Hänelle.

Et tee itseäsi kelvolliseksi.

Jeesus tekee.

Ja vain ne, jotka tulevat ristin kautta – eivät omilla ansioillaan – pelastuvat.

▪︎ Tie on matala

Väylä Jumalan valtakuntaan on kapea ja matala.

Vain nöyrät mahtuvat siitä sisään.

Vain ne, jotka sanovat:

"En voi itse (En kykene tähän itse omin voimin.)

Luovutan.

Antaudun.

Annan elämäni Sinulle, Jeesus.

Sinä olet Herra.

Tule asumaan minuun."

Tämä on pelastus.

Tämä on armo.

Tämä on Jeesuksen veri –

ja tämä on ainoa tie Elämään.

"Minä olen tie ja totuus ja elämä; ei kukaan tule Isän tykö muutoin kuin minun kauttani."

— Johannes 14:6

Jeesus on ainoa tie. Hän ei tullut tekemään meistä itsevarmoja, vaan tekemään meidät täysin Häneen luottaviksi. Hänessä on meidän toivomme. Hänessä on meidän pelastuksemme. Hänessä me olemme vihdoin kelvollisia.

Ja kaikki kunnia siitä kuuluu yksin Hänelle.

Only Through Jesus Are We Made Worthy – A Surrendered Life is a Saved Life

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves—it is the gift of God—not as a result of your works, so that no one may boast."

— Ephesians 2:8–9 AMP

We live in a generation that glorifies independence. From childhood we are taught: be strong, take control, be enough, fix yourself, save yourself. But the truth of Scripture confronts this worldly wisdom with a holy blade:

You will never be enough.

You cannot fix yourself.

You cannot save yourself.

Only one can: Jesus.

The Truth of Our Condition

The Bible doesn’t flatter us. It tells us the reality:

"For all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God"

Sin isn’t just bad behavior—it is rebellion against the authority and holiness of God. It is the cancer of our souls that disqualifies every human from entering into God’s presence.

"Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,

And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear."

— Isaiah 59:2 AMP

We were born separated. And no ritual, no effort, no ‘being a good person’ can erase sin. The payment for sin is not doing better. It is death.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

— Romans 6:23 AMP

 Only the Blood Makes Us Worthy

To make us worthy again, God Himself had to intervene.

Not by sending a mere prophet.

Not by offering a message of moral improvement.

But by becoming flesh—the very Creator entering His own creation to pay what we could never pay.

"And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth."

— John 1:14 AMP

The Creator of galaxies became a baby.

The King of heaven let His hands be nailed to a tree.

The sinless one became sin for us.

"He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness]."

— 2 Corinthians 5:21 AMP

He was not just a messenger. He is the Arm of YHWH prophesied by Isaiah (Yeshayahu):

"To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"

— Isaiah 53:1, quoted again in John 12:38 to point directly to Jesus.

Only His sacrifice is acceptable.

Only His blood can cleanse.

Only His death can redeem.

Only His resurrection can raise you up.

Worthiness Comes by Surrender

Jesus said:

"If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me."

— Luke 9:23 AMP

We are not saved because we add Jesus to our lives like a spiritual bonus.

We are saved when we give our whole lives to Him.

It is not merely faith in Jesus.

It is surrender to Jesus.

You must say:

"I am not Lord over my life anymore.

Jesus is. I hand You control.

I am not enough. You are.

I want Your Spirit to live in me, not my own will."

This is how we are made vessels of God.

And when we do this with true faith, Ruach HaKodesh—The Holy Spirit—comes to dwell inside us.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]?"

— 1 Corinthians 6:19 AMP

"You are not your own—you were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body."

— 1 Corinthians 6:20 AMP

 He Makes His Nest In Us

The Holy Spirit is not a feeling.

He is not a force.

He is God’s own Spirit, who now takes residence in the hearts of those who belong to Jesus.

He makes a nest, a dwelling, in us.

This is the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy:

"I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes."

— Ezekiel 36:26–27 AMP

You do not belong to yourself anymore.

You belong to Him.

You don’t make yourself worthy.

Jesus does.

And only those who come through His cross, not their own merit, are saved.

The Way is Low

The door into the Kingdom is narrow, and it is low.

Only the humble can enter.

Only those who say:

"I cannot do it. I give up. I surrender. Jesus, You take over. I make You my Lord, my God, my King."

"God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

— James 4:6 AMP

"Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

— Matthew 23:12 AMP

We do not approach God like champions.

We approach like beggars.

We kneel.

We surrender.

And He lifts us.

Only the broken find healing.

Only the desperate find hope.

Only the humble find salvation.

 Final Word: All Worthiness is in Him

So if someone asks you:

“How do you know you're worthy of heaven?”

You must answer:

“I am not. But Jesus is. And I belong to Him.”

You don’t enter eternity because of what you’ve done.

You enter because of what Jesus did—and you made Him your life.

"I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."

— Galatians 2:20 AMP

That is the only way to be made worthy.

By His sacrifice.

By your surrender.

By His Spirit.

By His blood.

By His grace.

And by His name.

Yeshua. Jesus. The Arm of YHWH. Our Savior and our God.

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

— Acts 4:12

Let Him be your everything.

You don’t need to be in control anymore.

You were never meant to be.

Surrender.

Bow.

Believe.

Let Him fill you.

Let Him live through you.

And you will be saved.
