Rockets, Refuge, and Revelation: Jordan's Prophetic Future

From the moment I saw the alerts lighting the Tsofar app, I knew this was not just war. This was prophetic. I switched to Facebook live, watching real-time footage, and what I saw with my own eyes was something that can only be described as divine. Jordan—yes, Jordan—intercepted rockets not aimed at them, but headed toward Israel. Why? Why would a Muslim-majority nation intercept rockets meant for the Jewish state?

Because Yahweh is moving.

It happened on April 13, 2024, again on May 4, and then again during the night of May 19–20. Three separate incidents, three patterns of divine interruption. News headlines began flashing across screens:

→ "Jordanian Air Force Intercepts Drones and Rockets Aimed at Israel" (Jerusalem Post, April 14)

→ "Jordan Shoots Down Iranian Missiles in Rare Move Backing Israel" (Times of Israel, May 5)

→ "Miraculous: Jordan Once Again Blocks Strike on Israel" (All Israel News, May 20)

I was watching live when it happened. I saw the flashes, the air sirens, the sky being torn open. I watched the missiles rise—and vanish mid-air. No impact. No devastation. And I heard it again and again: "intercepted over Jordanian airspace".

Why would a Muslim country step in? Why now? What kind of unseen hand causes that?

And then came the miracle I cannot forget.

I heard Hillel Fuld, a tech entrepreneur and voice in Israeli media, say in an interview that "rockets keep landing in empty spaces." Then, an anonymous Microsoft regional leader, also an Israeli, said it plainly during a panel: "It doesn’t make sense. There are no empty spaces in Israel. And yet the rockets land in empty fields, over and over."

They both said what I saw and already believed: Yahweh is protecting His people.

Israel is small. There are very few unpopulated areas. And yet, time and time again, these death-machines fall harmlessly where no one is. Not because of Iron Dome. Not because of precision. But because of unseen hands—angels standing guard, the hand of El Shaddai, the name of Yahweh upon His inheritance.

This is not coincidence. This is divine choreography.

I sat there with tears, watching God write headlines through fire and interception. It was as if the Ruach HaKodesh whispered to me: “I will defend Jerusalem, not for their righteousness, but for My Name.”

Zechariah 2:8

“For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘After glory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you—for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.’” (AMP)

Yahweh is moving pieces across the map—nations, weapons, winds, even enemies—to fulfill His Word. When Jordan intercepts for Israel, it is not politics. It is prophecy.

Even when Israel doesn't yet know Messiah, Yahweh remembers His covenant. The world sees drones. I saw divine mercy. The news calls it geopolitics. I call it Genesis 12:3 in action:

"I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you."

Jordan may not bless Israel with its mouth, but its jets blessed with their defense. And Yahweh sees.

And as for the empty fields? That is Psalm 91, lived out:

"A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you."

So I testify of what I saw. Not just through apps and news, but through the eyes of faith. The Holy One of Israel is still guarding His people. He is still placing angels between the wicked and His children. And He is still preparing the earth for the return of the One they pierced.

Yeshua is not done with Israel. And Yahweh is not done revealing His power.

When I saw Jordan intercept rockets to protect Israel—not once but three times—I knew what I was watching. Not just military defense. I was watching prophecy unfold. But most people don’t realize that Jordan has a very specific role in the end times. It’s not just random.

Jordan will be the only surrounding nation not conquered by the Antichrist.

 Daniel 11:41 (AMP)
"He will enter the Glorious Land (Israel), and many countries will fall; but these will be rescued out of his hand: Edom, Moab, and the foremost of the sons of Ammon."

That’s not a vague guess. That is a precise geographic promise. Edom, Moab, and Ammon are all located in modern-day Jordan. That means:

→ When the Antichrist invades and rules during the Great Tribulation, Jordan is the one area he will not be able to conquer.
→ That land will become a place of refuge, protected by God for the remnant and for those who missed the Rapture but turn to Jesus in those days.

It is not a coincidence that Petra, the ancient rock fortress in Jordan, has long been believed to be the very place where the Jewish remnant will flee when the Antichrist defiles the temple and demands worship (Matthew 24:15-16, Revelation 12:6, 14).

 Revelation 12:6 (AMP)
"Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that she would be nourished there for 1,260 days (three and one-half years)."

→ "The woman" = Israel
→ "Wilderness" = Many scholars believe this is Petra in Jordan

And when you look at what’s happening today—Jordan blocking missiles meant for Israel, even when politically they have tension with Israel—you start to realize:

God is already preparing that land.

The same God who preserved Daniel in Babylon and Elijah in the wilderness will preserve His remnant in the hills of ancient Edom.

Even the enemies of Israel cannot touch that land. Not now. Not during the Tribulation. It is marked by God for preservation.

And if you're reading this after the Rapture, know this:

→ If you're in Israel and you see the Antichrist defile the Temple, flee to the mountains of Jordan.

→ Jesus already warned you ahead of time:

 Matthew 24:15-16 (AMP)
"So when you see the abomination of desolation [the appalling sacrilege that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place… then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."

That’s not poetry. That’s a GPS warning from Jesus. The "mountains" are real. Jordan is real. Petra is real.

And the Word of God will be fulfilled literally.

So when I saw those rockets intercepted over Jordan this year, I didn’t just see defense—I saw a shadow of what’s to come. That land is being preserved. And when the world turns to the Antichrist, Jordan will be a witness that God still protects His own.

Whatever the future brings, I strongly recommend getting Pastor John Hagee’s books. I am currently reading a powerful one titled "The Beginning of the End", which is the first book in a prophetic trilogy all combined in one volume called JOHN HAGEE PROPHECY SERIES.

The full volume includes:
→ THE BEGINNING OF THE END

→ DAY OF DECEPTION

→ FINAL DAWN OVER JERUSALEM

Three books in one. What makes these books different is that they stick to literal Bible prophecy, not spiritualizing it away, and they make it clear that God's Word will be fulfilled just as it is written.

In the one I’m reading now, “The Beginning of the End,” Pastor Hagee walks through how events in the Middle East, Israel, Russia, and the rise of globalism all point to the soon return of Jesus and how the Church must be ready.

I don't agree with every detail from every preacher, but I respect that Hagee stands with Israel, takes the Bible seriously, and doesn’t try to water down prophecy to make it politically correct.

If you’ve never studied end-time prophecy, this is a good place to start. If you have, this is one to revisit with your Bible open.

And don’t forget: even if we don’t know every detail, the Bible already told us who wins.
→ Jesus is coming.

→ Israel is central.

→ The Church must be awake.

No matter how dark the world gets, prophecy reminds us God is in total control. He declared the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10), and nothing catches Him by surprise. Whether we go in the Rapture or stand as witnesses during tribulation, the Lamb wins, and His Word will not fail.

Stay in the Word. Stay alert.
And if you're left behind after the Rapture—remember what you read. God still offers mercy, even then.

Yeshua is coming soon. Be ready.
