The war in Psalm 83 is not just a geopolitical coalition—it is a counterfeit unity forged by spiritual deception. In this third part, we will examine how the false religious system of Islam connects directly to the Psalm 83 confederacy, how Yahweh’s everlasting covenant with Israel stands unbroken, and how this prophecy leads into greater prophetic wars such as Ezekiel 38 and Zechariah 12.
The Confederacy’s Hidden Root: Ishmael’s Jealousy and Islam’s Lie
Psalm 83:5 reveals that this coalition acts in deliberate unity:
"For they have conspired together with one mind; Against You they make a covenant." (AMP)
Hebrew: כִּ֤י נוֹעֲצוּ֨ לֵ֬ב יַחְדָּ֗ו עָלֶ֥יךָ בְרִֽית־יִכְרְתֽוּ׃
Interlinear: “For they have consulted together with heart united; against You they cut a covenant.”
The key word בְּרִית (bᵉrît) means covenant, treaty, pact. They form a spiritual and political alliance against God, not merely against Israel.
This is directly mirrored in Islam, which falsely claims to “unite” the descendants of Ishmael, Esau, and others under one banner: Allah. But who is Allah? As shown before, the Qur’an in Surah 112:2 calls him ٱلصَّمَدُ (As-Samad)—a title used in the Ugaritic Baal Cycle for Baal himself.
Ugaritic: “šmd dances in the hand of Baal like an eagle.”
This proves Islam’s deity is not Yahweh, but the same demonic entity that inspired Baal worship.
So when Muslims gather in unity against Israel—from Gaza (Philistia), to Lebanon (Tyre), to Iraq (Assyria), to Jordan (Moab, Ammon)—they repeat the ancient error: rejecting Yahweh’s covenant and falsely claiming replacement through Ishmael.
Yahweh’s Covenant is Forever
While Islam claims that the covenant passed to Ishmael and then to the Arabs, Yahweh makes it clear in Genesis 17:
“But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this season next year.” (Genesis 17:21 AMP)
Hebrew: וְאֶת־בְּרִיתִ֗י אָקִ֛ים אֶת־יִצְחָ֥ק – “And My covenant I will establish with Isaac.”
Not with Ishmael. Not with Esau. Not with the sons of Keturah. Only with Isaac, and then with Jacob, whom God renamed Israel.
Islam attempts to nullify this covenant with the lie that Muhammad is the final prophet. But Yahweh says:
“I am the LORD, I change not.” (Malachi 3:6)
Hebrew: אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֣א שָׁנִ֑יתִי – “I, Yahweh, do not change.”
Therefore, no new prophet, no false scripture, no deceptive vision can break the eternal covenant of God. Psalm 83’s war is not about land—it is about whose God is true. And it will end with the vindication of Yahweh alone.
Coming Fulfillment: Transition into Greater Prophecy
Psalm 83 may be the spark that ignites the prophetic chain of end-time wars. Once this inner-ring confederacy is defeated (Edom, Moab, Ammon, Philistia, Assyria, Tyre), the outer-ring nations of Ezekiel 38 (Gog, Magog, Persia, Cush, Put, Gomer, and Togarmah) will see Israel dwelling in peace and decide to strike.
Psalm 83 defeat leads to:
▪︎ Zechariah 12:2-3 – Jerusalem becomes a cup of trembling to all nations.
▪︎ Ezekiel 38-39 – Russia, Iran, and Turkey invade a secure Israel.
▪︎ Joel 3 – Yahweh gathers all nations to the valley of Jehoshaphat.
This reveals the unfolding timeline:
1. Psalm 83: Immediate neighbors attempt destruction but are miraculously defeated.
2. Ezekiel 38: Distant enemies launch a broader war.
3. Zechariah 14: The final war. Messiah returns to fight for Jerusalem.
And who is this Messiah?
Isaiah 53:1 – “To whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”
Hebrew: זְרוֹעַ יְהוָה – Zeroa YHWH, the Arm of Yahweh
John 12:38 – “...so that the word of Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled: ‘Lord, who has believed our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?’”
Jesus is the Arm of Yahweh—not a mere prophet, not a man, but the visible expression of the invisible God. The nations war against Israel and against Him. And He will come with power.
Final Word: Why Does It Matter?
Because this war is not about politics—it is about truth.
The war in Psalm 83 is the collision between the lie of Islam and the covenant of Yahweh. It is the same lie the serpent whispered in Eden: "You shall not surely die"—a denial of God's Word. Now the serpent speaks again through false prophets, false gods, and false unities.
But Yahweh laughs:
“He who sits in the heavens laughs; The Lord scoffs at them.” (Psalm 2:4 AMP)
And He will act.
